A wedding interrupted.
From the journal of the Wolf of the North · a work of fiction
The wedding feast spilled into the courtyard just as a lone reindeer, startled by music, charged through the gate. Chairs flew. The bride's little niece stood frozen beneath the tablecloth.
I scooped her up and used the cloth to block the animal's view while guests opened the far gate. It escaped without hurting anyone. The bride kept the torn cloth and said it made the day impossible to forget.
