From the journal of the Wolf of the North · a work of fiction
The post carrier brought me a note written on the back of an envelope. The Ruotsalainens were stuck in their sauna after a herd settled near the path to their house.
I approached with a bucket of water and splashed the icy ground well away from the building. The animals drifted toward the sound. The family hurried home in borrowed coats, laughing at the absurdity of it.
